I never once called this a vacation.
Vacations you return from calm, rested and peaceful.
No this was an adventure.
A wild ride.
A bucking bronco with sweat and dust and grit.
So it didn’t turn out the way I planned.
It ended quick but felt like a thousand years.
And I’m headed home but oh what an adventure it was.
Good friends found.
Good times had.
Good memories created.
And I won’t let it be overshadowed.
An ending is what you make it
And I’m making this a beginning.
