I’ve got a heart that stretches all too far and all too fast.
One minute I’m single and happy
The next running a mile a minute into a brick wall of unrequited love.
And I wish I could say sometime it ends well.
But honestly I can’t.
Cause as soon as I’m on my own two feet
With tears sniffled away.
I find some new total babe
Who is willing to hang out with me.
And it’s not his fault
I’ve just got a heart that stretches too far.
