I am not a child. 

I am not some helpless woman
Waiting for some man
To come and find me.
I am a woman
Strong in my own right.
I do not wonder if you’ll find me.
I do not wonder when you’ll find me.
I wonder when I’ll be strong enough
To go and find you.
Not be found.
But do the finding myself.
