I’m tired of making excuses for you

Tired of tying my tongue in knots

Twisting words to make you

Seem decent

Make you seem

Alright.

But I’m tired.

I’ve got scars on my lips from the backlash

And my tongue can’t find new ways to contort.

So I’m leaving.

I did my best.

I’ve protect you from your own actions for the last 5 years.

So I’m spitting out the last of these twisted words

And now I’m walking away.
