It’s funny now.

Funny how you hated me.

Funny how I still cared.

Funny how I did my best to be friends with you.

And it all counted for nothing.

All of my good intentions and best of hearts

Counted for nothing in your book.

So I look back now and think of the fun I had with you

And then compare it to the way it ended.

And I just laugh.

Because I was honest

And good

And smart

And kind.

And you didn’t care.

So I’ll forget about you

But it will still be funny how I tried.
