No one ever mentioned the way the cage bird cries when finally set free.

No one tells you that the poor bird felt like the world they knew was destroyed.

They never mentioned the way the open sky appeared so frightening.

But i know now.

I know now what it feels like to be freed and feel more ensnared than before.

Know what its like to feel the crush of the open air and the hopelessness of free reign.

But at one point the bird opens their eyes.

Opens them from the tears and realizes the potential.

So thank you for opening the cage door.

For violently shaking the cage until i flew out

. I didn't see it then but i see it now.
