You think you know your country.
You think you know the people.
You think you know the land, the people, the nation you love.
And then you’re taken.
You’re dropped across the country
You’re in a place that was once just a spot on a map.
And you realize.
You don’t know it at all.
You open your eyes and you see.
You are aware of every difference
between this place and your home by the sea.
And when you realize that
You feel very very very small.
