College is a time of closeness.
The majority of your friends crammed
Into a square mile radius.
But right after college is a time of pain.
Everyone you hold so dear for 4 long years
Has been picked up and scattered to the winds.
Ones in New York
Ones in LA
Ones in Alaska
Ones headed to Maine.
Thrown across the map like feed for chickens
And all through college you don’t think of it
And then it happens.
