You and I lost at sea
Like a buoy in the middle of the ocean.
A hundred thousand buoys spread across the water
And each one feeling alone.
The buoy looks out on the tides
And sees no one quite like them.
They say I’m alone and no one will know
Today if I live or I die.
But what the buoy can’t see
Is the hundreds, thousands, like you and me
Spread all over this world and tide.
If only we’d skip the world between you and me
We’d know we’re not all alone.
